The CRAFT of Community Development

A one to five-hour workshop that uses “Beginners Guide to Community-Based Arts” as its main reference point. It is a highly engaging and practical introduction for artists, teachers, children, professors, activists, policymakers, college students, teenagers, grandparents, police officers, elected officials and others who want to tap into the creative powers of their community. Participants learn how, when and why the arts can support a wide range of social change objectives. The workshop can be held on its own or in conjunction with larger gatherings and conferences.
