We just returned from a great visit to Missouri’s River City under the sponsorship of the National Endowment for the Arts (Presenting) and the St. Louis Regional Arts Council. We got to be on the same conference schedule with luminaries like Arlene Goldbard and Bill Cleveland, plus we had the chance to meet with local youth doing theater and social change work from Catholic Charities, the Institute for the Survivors of Work Trauma and the International Playground. It was a great bonding experience for our group (Tammy Stewart, Will Powell, AsaleSol Young, Sonali Fernando and me), and it made us appreciate St. Louis and the warm and honest folks who live there. Thanks Jackie, Theresa and Roseann!
